January 12, 2009 6:00 PM I have an announcement to make. Jgames is going to become a social networking site within the next month. What this means is that the video games portion of the website will be closed permanently. All of the forums will be renamed and the Reviews section will probably become reviews for something else, such as music or movies. I will keep such features as the RPG but will improve them over the course of the next year. Jgames will no longer be about Nintendo. It will be about finding friends and connecting with them. One good thing about this is that, if it's about friends, then it's good to have 'too many people from Centennial'. This change will lead to more options for me to add to the website, as well as other things. And to address the JBox issue, I decided that soon I will release the JBox to the public and make songs available for 5 points each. January 12, 2009 6:00 PM All righty, I added friend lists to the database for everybody on Jgames. I automatically added myself to everybody's friend list. From now on, the forum only shows topics that: 1. You posted 2. Somebody on your friend list posted 3. You have replied to You can still view any topic in the forum, just not from the main view or forum views. I'll add the friend list feature to the Controls section later. For now, I have 260 pages of a book to read by Friday so later. ---------- >.< |
