September 11, 2008 6:00 PM Hm. Being a pilot isn't all that great. If you want a family that's going to be hard, you have to fly all over the place. My friend's dad's a pilot and he makes alot of money cuz he's a private pilot, but he's only home like 2 days a month. He flies people from L.A. to MN. September 12, 2008 6:00 PM pompomperson, you do NOT wish you had jet lag. chipvader, that's when you fly from one time zone to another that's like 3 or more hours back or forward, and then you have to do stuff without making up sleep for a while. Like if I lived in England and flew here, we're 6 hours back from them so let's say I leave at 12:00, it's an 8 hour flight so I would arrive at 8:00 but time zones so I arrive at 2:00 local time. It's like I lived through 6 hours that never seemed to happen. So you've been awake 6 extra hours and it doesn't seem all bad but really, it is. It messes you up. ---------- >.< |
