November 04, 2008 6:00 PM I'm not that dumb when it comes to politics. I support Obama when it comes to taxes because, I live in a middle class family and in fact, my dad is struggling with paying his house payments due to a shoulder surgery that was necessary for him to continue in the automotive repair industry. Higher taxes for families making $250,000 + a year, seems pretty reasonable due to the fact that they have moderately large homes and most of them don't have that many problems paying for them when in my dad's neighborhood, 17 homes have been foreclosed. Thankfully my mom was smart when financing the home I'm in right now, we didn't go with one of those deceptive A.R.M. (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) loans. That's one of the main problems facing homeowners today, the rates go from maybe 4.5% (Very nice) to close to 20.5% (Bad). That's one of the reasons that homes are being foreclosed, and due to foreclosures and greedy mortgage companies, the people who they trusted could pay their A.R.M. loans have been foreclosed and the companies have been shorted their money. ---------- School school school school school WEEKEND! school school school school school WEEKEND! school.... |
